Signaling a sea of change for both Maserati and the luxury SUV market, the Italian automaker staged the first official American unveiling of its new SUV, the Levante, yesterday at the 2016 New York International Auto Show. This elegant and stately SUV strikes a dramatic figure against the bright lights of the New York International Auto Show, marking Maserati’s first foray into the SUV market and bona fide showstopper.
Built atop the architecture that carries both the Ghibli and the Quattroporte, the Levante is also equipped with Maserati’s intelligent Q4 AWD system. With everything you’d expect from a Maserati in terms of luxury, comfort, and capability, the Levante is blazing a bold new trail for the Italian automakers into the SUV market.
The Levante will go on sale in America at the end of August, with two V6 Twin-Turbo gas engines offered, garnering 350 and 450 horsepower respectively. Orders will be accepted from April on, so the wait for the Levante is not long.
With orders opening as soon as April, it’s almost time to join us here at Maserati of Fort Lauderdale to put your name in for the all-new Maserati Levante.
