If you keep up with the latest in Maserati news, then you probably know that the company has really been doing well in terms of sales over the past couple of months. In May alone, more than 3,000 new Maserati vehicles were sold around the United States, and monthly sales figures are only expected to grow even more through the rest of the year.
Of course looking more closely at luxury cars sales in general will show that small high-powered sports cars just aren’t as popular as they were 20 years ago. Today it seems that high-end vehicle consumers are looking for cars that are sporty and fun while still being functional enough to use for everyday driving.
That is why Maserati has announced that it will be kicking the production lines at one of its Italian production facilities into overdrive. In order to keep up with rising demand, Maserati is increasing the production of Ghibli and Quattraporte models from the current 750 a week to an amazing 900.
